Redout 1.5.1 is out now
Every developer needs to choose how long a title needs support for. I don't think we have ever questioned our love for Redout nor we are willing to start asking ourselves when it's time to stop caring.
This is why we are at another crucial point in the history of Redout, updating the game once again for free, improving every aspect we can and providing additional content for players who are asking it.
In short, this has changed with updates 1.5.0 and 1.5.1:
- The entire game has been rebuilt for Unreal Engine 4.17.2, which has an insane amount of optimizations and improvements all over ( read more here: https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/blog/unreal-engine-4-17-released ) and FMOD 1.10, which grants better audio in the game and a state-of-the-art downsampling from 5.1 to 2.0, which removes the need for a manual switch between the two audio outputs and allows us to make the game 2Gb lighter.
- Progression through the game has been updated according to community-feedback and playtesting sessions, especially in terms of wall physics and friction, which now is way more powerful at higher levels and speed.
- We put a lot of effort in optimizing the game, which now has a 15% improvement under any circumstances and in every track of the game.
- We just added the Space Exploration Packto our collection, which adds two new environments, 10 tracks, 2 bosses, 3 liveries and 5 exclusive ship colors. Read more about it here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/728910/Redout__Space_Exploration_Pack/Also, it's 10% off for this week.

And don't forget we just hid 45 bunnies in all levels for the community to find.
