Enhanced zoom gives you a God’s eye view in ROME: Total War for iPhone

In ROME: Total War, you raise your armies and manage your empire on a huge Campaign Map ranging from the Alps to the Pyramids.

On iPhone, we have enhanced the zoom function so that you can zoom in closer and pull out further, letting you easily keep a close watch on your enemy’s manoeuvres or step back and strategise with the bigger picture.

We are also introducing a slick new zoom method. Zoom in automatically by tapping close to selectable objects on the Campaign Map, such as armies or cities. A quick pinch gesture zooms you back out.

Rome wasn't rebuilt in a day… but you can enjoy its construction. Over the coming weeks, expect further reveals of ROME features being developed for the iPhone.

ROME: Total War for iPhone will be available from the App Store for $9.99/£9.99/€10.99. Users who have already purchased ROME: Total War for iPad will be able to download it onto their iPhone at no extra cost, and transfer their save file.

System requirements will be announced closer to the release date.
