THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR GAME TO BIG FESTIVAL AWARDS HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO APRIL 28

The submission deadline for the 2018 Brazil’s Independent Games Festival Main Competition now ends Saturday, April 28 (4/28) at 11pm (EST). Submission form available here.

Until then, festival officials are accepting submissions for the 2018 Brazil’s Independent Games Festival, the prestigious competition for indie games in Latin America, to be held for its 6th year in Sao Paulo, Brazil next June.

Although the deadline for all submissions to BIG this year will be April 28, the finalists will be announced in mid-May 2018. Finalists' games will be playable at the crowded Centro Cultural São Paulo, and will compete for over $45,000 in prizes. Each nominee is invited to send a
representative to attend BIG with Travel and Accommodation costs covered by the festival.

Brazil’s Independent Games (BIG) Festival is the first and largest independent video game festival in Latin America, conference and exhibit in Latin America. It fosters talent by catering to an international crowd of renowned developers and publishers. Last year’s prize winners include Overcooked, Distortions, The Deadly Tower of Monsters, Orwell, Superhot VR, Old Man’s Journey, Figment and Ethereal.

Winners will be announced on stage at the popular BIG Festival Awards on Friday, June 29th, 2018, at the iconic Centro Cultural in São Paulo, with the BIG festival Forum and exhibition open from June 23rd to July 1st. With the extended deadline, submissions continue to be opened to all independent game developers. 2018 BIG Festival’ s main calendar dates can be found below:
