UK Games Expo 2018

Asmodee UK will be offering players and retailers the chance to try out some of the most exciting upcoming releases at this year’s UK Games Expo, with the company having announced details of what’s on at the Esdevium Games Stand.
One of these enticing opportunities is the debut of Century: Eastern Wonders, the new game from Plan B. The sequel to Century: Spice Road, which got its first UK play at last year’s Expo, Century: Eastern Wonders will similarly be demonstrated throughout the convention.

Century: Eastern Wonders continues Plan B’s series exploring trading through the ages, transporting players to the Far East as merchants and privateers competing to control the region on behalf of their nations.

As well as being a fantastic game for families and friends (handling 2-4 players aged 8 and up), Century: Eastern Wonders can be combined with Century: Spice Road to create an entirely new gaming experience called Sand to Sea! Fans of the original must make sure to visit the Plan B Games tables at the Esdevium Games Stand to get a look at what Century: Eastern Wonders offers.
Asmodee have also confirmed a soft launch for Century: Eastern Wonders at Expo, with a limited amount of stock to be made available to retailers at the show for early sales. The game will formally release later in June and is expected to retail at £33.99.

Also among the highest-profile attractions will be the UK first play of the A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game from CMON.

Based on George R.R. Martin’s best-selling novels, the A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game allows fans to play out thrilling re-enactments of battles from the books or create their own scenarios. What would happen if there was no Red Wedding and Robb Stark assaulted King’s Landing? Now you can find out.

Players will have a chance to try out the game’s elegant rules and evocative pre-assembled miniatures at Expo ahead of its full release. The game’s Stark vs Lannister Starter Set is supported by a host of additional units, from Tully Sworn Shields to Bolton Cutthroats.

The A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game will be just one of the attractions at CMON’s extensive space within the Esdevium Games Stand, with eight branded tables devoted to their range.

These and many more exciting titles from publishers including AEG, Bananagrams, Hush Hush projects, Atlas, Blackrock, PSI and FoxMind will be on show throughout the convention, making the Esdevium Games Stand a must-see for UK Games Expo visitors.
