Game Devs of Color Expo 2019
After three years of steady growth, the Game Devs of Color Expo will be returning in 2019, as well as participating in the Game Developers Conference Scholarship program.
The Game Devs of Color Expo organizers are proud to announce the event will be returning to the Schomburg Center in Harlem, New York in July 2019. After an amazing 2018 event, which included 17% attendance growth from 2017, the conference organizers are working on making an even bigger splash in 2019.
GDoC Expo 2019 Specifics, such as specific date (s?) of the conference and how to get involved by submitting games, talk ideas, or volunteering will be coming early 2019.
The expo organizers have also teamed up with the Game Developers Conference Scholarship program to provide free conference + summits passes to a select group of applicants. Starting today, prospective applicants can head to bit.ly/gdocexpo_gdc_scholarship in order to apply.
About: The 2019 GDoC Expo is a games conference that is in its 4th year, featuring games and talks by people of color in and around the games space.
