Murder in the Alps chosen as one of the Best Google Play Apps of 2018

Latest game from Nordcurrentstudio, Murder in the Alps, was selected by Google as one of the best games of this year. The criminal adventure game was chosen in the category “Best Casual Games of 2018”.

Murder in the Alps tells the story of the Swiss journalist Anna Myers, who decides to take a holiday at a remote hotel tucked away in one of the farthest corners of the Alps. The snowstorm traps her and other guests, and then people start disappearing one by one. Anna takes on herself to investigate this mystery and find the culprit.

“With Murder in the Alps we wanted to try something a bit different, to bring back the feeling of mystery crime novels into the game”, said Victoria Trofimova, CEO of Nordcurrent. “It is very exciting that this idea and lots of work which took to implement it received such a great reception and closes the year as one of the best casual games.”

Murder in the Alps offers hours of gameplay which brings players to all the corners of the hotel and its surroundings, and then expands the game world into other locations. Players are invited to meet different characters, search for clues, solve puzzles and play mini-games. Since the global release at the beginning of October, Murder in the Alps was downloaded by more than 3 million players.
