New date for #gamesweekberlin2020

gamesweekberlin 2020 is being postponed in order to counteract the further spread of the novel coronavirus Sars-CoV-2: the events of the PRO X business platform, i.e. the QUO VADIS game development & business conference, the Womenize! Games & Tech talent and recruitment platform, the Opening Breakfast, the German Esports Summit as well as the Matchmaking Dinner are now expected to take place on 29-30 October 2020 in cooperation with EGX Berlin (30.10.-1.11.2020). The Digital Games Culture Foundation's conference for professionals will take place on 28 October, APITs Day will also be postponed, the new date will be announced. PLAY X with the Gamefest for game fans will be cancelled for the time being. The A MAZE. / Berlin Festival of ART X will take place from 22-25 July.

With the cancellation the organisers follow the decree from the Berlin health administration banning events with more than 1,000 participants until the end of the Easter holidays.

Already purchased tickets for the Gamefest will be refunded. PRO X tickets retain their validity for the event in October or will be refunded. More information about this can be found at www.gamesweekberlin.com/faq.
