Thief Simulator VR: Greenview Street gets a major update

Since the July launch of Thief Simulator VR: Greenview Street on the Meta Quest platform, the title has hit number #3 on the Meta Store's bestseller list. The game has been purchased by more than 75,000 VR players worldwide. The developers from 3R GAMES set themselves more ambitious goals and are working on new engaging content all the time. The game has just received its sixth and one of the most significant free content updates called Cyberweek Update.

Thief Simulator VR: Greenview Street gets a major update

Thief Simulator VR: Greenview Street gives you the opportunity to experience the role of a thief looting the neighborhood. The title allows for a huge amount of interaction with the environment, which for VR games contributes significantly to engaging and immersive gameplay. Our character must remain invisible like a ninja to avoid capture by residents and police. Players must also analyze the daily behavior of the NPCs present in the game to find the right moment to steal.

Those with a flair for mayhem may smash windows with a crowbar and destroy various elements of the environment to loot valuables or just to have fun. Players who prefer more subtle methods can open locks with a set of picks or use a glass cutter to sneak in through a window quietly. Hacking computers and extracting valuable data is also available. The sandbox-natured game world offers a tremendous amount of possibilities and players are only limited by their own imagination.

With the latest update, the developers are introducing a mini-game to disassemble looted vehicles, nearly 30 new loot types, the option to climb through windows seamlessly without dimming the game image, as well as the ability to eat food found in houses. The game has received improved drawer and cupboard opening mechanics, a new tutorial for beginners, and an updated graphic. Players in Thief Simulator VR: Greenview Street will also now find more interactive and destructible objects.

The developers have no intention of stopping with this update. Creators of the game from the 3R GAMES studio are already working on expanding the game world with more neighborhoods and more new unique content, which will only be available to those who own the Quest 2 version of the game.

Thief Simulator VR: Greenview Street can be purchased from the Meta Store for US$19.99 however, to celebrate Cyber Week and the upcoming Black Friday, the game is available in a special promotion for US$12.99.
