MILESTONE AND FELD MOTOR SPORTS ANNOUNCE THE RELEASE OF MONSTER JAM SHOWDOWN
Milestone, a leading global racing game developer and publisher based in Milan, and Feld Motor Sports, Inc.™, the worldwide leader in specialized arena and stadium-based motorsports entertainment, announced today the release of Monster Jam™ Showdown for all major gaming platforms.
Developed with Unreal Engine 5, it features 66* official Monster Jam™ trucks and more than 140 paint outs to unlock and apply. The pillar of the single-player experience will be the Showdown Tour, a non-linear campaign where fans will get to enjoy official Monster Jam competitions such as Freestyle and head-to-head Racing, as well as original game modes combining speed and skills. To immediately convey the feeling and excitement of mastering 1,500 horsepower mechanical machines, the game features comprehensive and customizable driving aids, allowing everyone to perform massive maneuvers and dynamic stunts. Importantly, the locations of the Showdown Tour are wild and out of the ordinary. Besides competing in stadiums inspired by real-life venues, fans will have the opportunity to drive their favorite Monster Jam trucks in three original environments inspired by the wilderness of Death Valley, Colorado, and Alaska. These will be the perfect places to drift and boost at full power, leveraging the arcade soul of this new entry in Milestone’s catalog. Thanks to destructible objects, crazy track designs, and extreme weather conditions, players will be able to experience the most unpredictable scenarios.
Fans looking for competition will also have plenty of opportunities to prove themselves. Split-screen will enable thrilling duels with family and friends, whereas two online-only events will complete the package of 10 different game modes. Players’ achievements will be tracked through Leaderboards and the Garage. On Leaderboards, all online matches will contribute to the overall global ranking, and separate boards dedicated to specific offline events will also be available. In the Garage, it will be possible to check in-game stats and admire all the Monster Jam trucks collected.
