Hot Lap Racing Launches on Epic and Receives Three New Cars in First Major Update for PC and Nintendo Switch
Hot Lap Racing, the simcade racer bringing together multiple eras of motorsport across PC and Nintendo Switch, is now outfitted with a brand new update. Launched in July on Steam and Nintendo Switch, Hot Lap Racing arrives today on Epic Games Store, welcoming veteran and novice racers alike to test their skills with licensed cars from the most exciting moment in racing history. And now players will take the wheel in three new vehicles: RBM 4LM JTC, Stuotgarten 191S GT3, and Duqueine D08. All are available today in solo game mode and in the Career championships.
Enjoy a launch promotion on the Epic Games Store now through September 26: https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/hot-lap-racing-586d8a
Additional updates include more accessible Feed Racing School tutorials in Career mode, a new "Overview" feature that allows a better look inside and outside each car, and various bug fixes improving the HUD and more.
· RBM 4LM JTC: The 4LM in the Japanese GT Championship is a car with a strong overall performance, with a top speed higher than any of its rivals'. However, the choice of rear-wheel drive over all-wheel drive for other championship contenders makes it less efficient on winding circuits.
· Stuotgarten 191S GT3: The 191S has long been a regular in the GT3 field. In fact, it's one of the most common cars in these championships. Although on paper some of its rivals are faster, it remains a powerful, robust and well-balanced car, and above all one of the easiest to maintain and repair.
· Duqueine D08: Duqueine Engineering's D08 prototype is eligible for a large number of championships. The car has won several constructors' and drivers' championships since its debut in 2020, and many teams have adopted it for its performance and reliability.
Hot Lap Racing features more than 50 drivable cars ranging from historic cars decades old to state-of-the-art modern powerhouses, including a futuristic concept car created in collaboration with the motorsport community to represent what racing will look like in 2030. Drive classics from Peugeot, Alpine, Mygale, Citroën and many more. Master more than 70 layouts across 17 stages on famous tracks like Jarama (Spain), Salzburgring (Austria), the French Riviera, and Flagstaff. Top the podium in individual categories for GT, Endurance or single-seater rides, or burn rubber in the Free category where all car classes share the same track for the ultimate generation-spanning contest.
