He is Coming arrives at Steam Next Fest with new demo

Hooded Horse is excited to be participating in the February 2025 edition of Steam Next Fest with a new demo – available now – for upcoming roguelite autobattler He is Coming, which is the latest title to join the publisher’s portfolio of world-class strategy and tactics games.

This is a roguelite RPG autobattler where players must explore a procedurally generated fantasy kingdom, collect magical trinkets, and prepare for the arrival of The Big Bad™. Setting out with nothing more than a pointy stick and a death wish, there isn’t long to prepare before trouble arrives – every three days, players will need to face off against one of 30 powerful boss monsters on the hunt for unsuspecting heroes. If they defeat enough of them, the Demon King himself will arrive.

The developers at Chronocle have been working hard to provide a fresh look at the game, featuring more bosses, hundreds more items, and the first version of the game’s asynchronous multiplayer mode, Kingmaker, where player builds are uploaded and sent out into the universe to fight other players in the ultimate test of strategic prowess.

Steam Next Fest - Februrary 2025 Edition runs from February 24 to March 3. The new demo is available to play right now, and will be deactivated after the event is over – check it out as soon as you can!

He is Coming will release on PC via Steam Early Access in 2025.
