Prepare to Brave the Gyldenmist and Restore the World as Mistfall Hunter Announces BETA 2 Playtest in April

Bellring Games is excited to announce the second playtest for Mistfall Hunter, the upcoming third-person action PvPvE extraction RPG set in a mysterious, dark fantasy continent. The playtest is scheduled for April 21st @ 6:00 pm PT on Steam, offering players another chance to form parties of up to three and venture into the Gyldenmist to battle monstrous foes and rival teams for powerful gear. Choose a class, master deadly combos and strategic skills, and fight for survival. Only a successful escape will secure your treasures.

BETA 2 New Features: 

• New Class
  • Seer: After the Gyldenfall, fanatical devotees of Misty, Goddess of Light, formed the Seers, believing the calamity to be a divine trial to earn her favor and end suffering. Wielding a lantern-like relic called a Catalyst, Seers harness divine magic to heal, dispel ailments, and protect allies.
• New Areas to Explore
  • Lake Iris: Endlessly heated by geothermal energy, Lake Iris is home to the Ember Iris, a mystical yet perilous bloom. Long devoid of human presence, this forgotten place now teems with dangerous creatures, ominous shadows, and deadly secrets waiting to be uncovered.
  • The Forge: Once the primary labor site of Brandrgarde's enslaved workers and heart of military production, The Forge was where the legendary blacksmith Vronn forged his finest works. Though Brandrgarde has long since fallen, The Forge still burns and is now claimed by the Corroded—craftsmen and slaves who continue their endless toil even in death.

  • Solo Mode Unleashed: While teamwork remains crucial, players can now challenge the Mistfall Hunter alone, battling solo and encountering other lone fighters in the world.

Set in a Dark Fantasy World, Mistfall Hunter takes place after a devastating war between Gods and Outer Gods, leaving divine beings fallen and their blood transforming into a Gyldenmist—spreading madness and corruption. Civilization crumbled, but a faint ember of hope remains as a shard of the Fate Goddess’s soul endures. With her remaining power, she takes the form of a mysterious maiden named Dew. Wandering the mortal realm she seeks out fallen heroes and grants them immortal flesh. These resurrected warriors venture into the Gyldenmist-laden ruins, engaging in ceaseless battles against the Gyldenized creatures, striving to ignite a glimmer of hope in this Corrosion Age.
 

Mistfall Hunter Key Features: 

• FIGHT – Immerse yourself in smooth, third-person gameplay and fast-paced combat. Select your player class and then utilize both magic and steel to customize your combat style. Players can switch weapons during battles to adapt to various enemies. You can even team up with friends to execute surprising combos to secure victory over any who may challenge your greatness.
• LOOT – There are rich treasures in the ruins guarded by the Corroded, or even terrifying Mist Lord. Fight these powerful creatures for spoils or take the quicker route by hunting down and looting other Gylden Hunters. Just be careful. If you die, you lose everything.
• EXTRACT – To successfully escape from the ruins players need to locate a rare monster called "Returner Woodling". Defeating it grants an item called “Soul of Return.” With this item in hand players can create their path home.
